Ron Lyons – A Lifelong Passion for Real Estate, Rooted in Celina, Texas

My journey in real estate started long before I held a license—back in 1984, when I was just a teenager working at my mother’s real estate company in the Park Cities area of Dallas. While other kids were riding bikes or hanging out at the mall, I was answering phones, setting appointments, mowing lawns, and helping maintain properties. I quickly learned the value of hard work and how to truly connect with people. Even back then, agents would tell me I’d already “sold” the property over the phone before the clients even arrived.
​As the business grew, I began working directly with property owners and managing real estate transactions on my own—long before most people even consider entering the field. By my late teens, I was regularly closing multiple transactions every weekend. From leasing and sales to project management, I built a strong foundation that I still rely on today.
​
In the early ‘90s, I stepped into multi-family real estate development, helping convert 180+ apartment units into high-end condos. This project taught me about construction standards, upgrades, and marketing unique property types—a skillset that would serve me well in the future.
​
But I wasn’t finished learning. Driven by a deep desire to serve, I entered law enforcement and became a police officer, graduating as Valedictorian of my academy class. I spent years serving in Celina and Frisco, where I worked in narcotics interdiction, K-9 handling, and supervisory roles. Being a cop taught me more about communication, pressure situations, and negotiation than any classroom ever could.

Later, I opened a successful chain of fitness studios in Dallas, helping thousands transform their health and mindset. As a certified Physical Fitness Specialist, I appeared on local and national TV, bringing motivation and results to people from all walks of life. A serious injury eventually brought that chapter to a close—but it led me right back to where I started: real estate.
​
Today, I’m proud to specialize exclusively in Celina, Texas real estate. I live here with my wife, Crystal, at our family ranch, and I’ve developed a deep passion for the growth, community, and character of this incredible town. Whether I’m helping clients buy or sell a home, guiding investors to opportunities, or advising on converting historic homes into businesses, I bring decades of real-world experience, local insight, and strong negotiation skills to every transaction.

I’m also honored to serve as a Special Real Estate Commissioner for the Collin County Court system, providing expert guidance on condemnation and right-of-way cases.
